At Timahoe Community Hall, the well-being and safety of everyone who uses our space is a top priority. We are committed to maintaining a welcoming, secure environment for all – whether you’re attending a local event, running a class, or just dropping in.
We follow best practices, ensuring the building is well-maintained, clean, and equipped with appropriate emergency exits and signage. Regular checks are carried out on fire safety equipment and facilities so that everything is in good working order and ready for safe use.
When it comes to safeguarding, we align with the policies set out by the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin, as outlined on kandle.ie. This means creating an environment where children, young people, and vulnerable adults are respected, supported, and protected. All groups using the hall for activities involving minors or vulnerable individuals are expected to have their own safeguarding policies and follow diocesan guidelines.
We ask all visitors and users of the hall to help us uphold these standards so that Timahoe Community Hall remains a safe and enjoyable place for everyone.
